On this Sunday morning, a group of over twenty young boys and girls from Winnipeg, Manitoba organized a Wheel-a-thon fundraising for the children of Mukanzo Orphanage Foundation in Tshikapa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Although their goal was to collect $60, they over achieved it by collecting over $800 from bystanders and families within an hour from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. How did they do it? They used their bicycles, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades to race around and collect funds to help Orphans of Mukanzo with their Health, Nutrition, Faith and Shelter. It is amazing how coming together can make such a big difference in other lives.
On behalf of all the children and staff of Mukanzo Foundation, I would like to thank you all for your love and efforts for making helping others part of your life. May God bless you!
